Sounds: Fall Out Boy
Returning home with a profound appreciation for my own home and situation. It's not pity for Natalie and Laura's lives, but rather realizing that theirs is not one for me. I like my life the way it is, and any doubts I had about not moving with them were completely disspelled. I did, however, gain a renewed drive to achieve the goals I have in my life. Maybe part of it is that I have a more clear definition of these goals and what it's going to take to achieve them. Another part is that I was able to get away from the clutter and demands of being at home. I was able to step back and see things from a farther distance.
*pausing to admire the beautiful city as I bid it farewell*
If I don't totally know exactly what it'll take to reach my goals, I at least have a less-than-vague notion, and I know where to go to find out what it'll take. These goals include:
-Improving my GPA to at least a 3.5 (if not higher)
-Paying off my insurance ticket
-Paying off my student loan to my mother
-Saving any and all extra money
-Taking a trip to Washington this summer
-Taking a trip to the east coast within the next year
-Getting a car
-Getting my general ed done by in time to...
-Get accepted to Boston University in fall of 2010
-Paying off my car loan (I already got the loan...I need to start paying it)
-Quit smoking
-Get a phD in psychology
-Take a trip to Europe again
Things Noticed During the Ride
-A Burger King with Chinese fast food
-How out of the public eye the members of Panic At The Disco have stayed (especially in comparison with their friends, Fall Out Boy)
-How different music sounds when only one headphone works
-A random pine tree still strewn with Christmas tinsel

Finally home!!! So glad I'm home. I'm ready to relax in my own bed and eat my own food and not spend money everytime I get bored!!!! I missed my mommy, I missed my kitten, and I missed my stupid, boring little town. I love it!!!
